He was busy evacuating people. Even while leaving in the end, he himself got scorched and he broke his leg due to falling from the building. However, his condition is out of danger.

The absconding owner of the building where the massive fire broke out in Mundka has been arrested two days after the incident. The fire first started on Friday on the first floor of the four-storey building, police said on Sunday. In this incident 27 people including 21 women died.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (External) Sameer Sharma said that we have arrested the absconding owner of the building Manish Lakra after conducting raids in Delhi and Haryana. He told that Lakra is a resident of Mundka village. Many people are still missing in this incident and their chances of survival are slim.
