Regarding this, during the search of the vehicle, the police and the flying squad team (FST) are recovering the cash being carried illegally. During checking at Lucknow’s Parivartan Chowk, Rs 10 lakh cash was recovered from a car on Saturday. The Hazratganj police is interrogating the youth in the car.
Checking is being done in the entire state regarding the assembly elections. Joint teams of Flying Squad team and police are keeping an eye on the transactions and movement of money during the elections. Checking is being done at many places regarding this. During the search at Parivartan Chowk in Lucknow, when the police searched a car, a cash of Rs 10 lakh was recovered from it. When the police asked the car rider for information about the money, he could not give a satisfactory answer. After that the police recovered him.
The police has given information about the recovered cash to the Income Tax Department. The Income Tax team is now seeking documents related to the money recovered from the car. During this the youth was also taken into custody. In view of the elections here, continuous checking is being done in many areas of the city along with Parivartan Chowk.

The Thakurganj police had recovered Rs 6,31,170 from the car of Kakori councilor Abhishek Awasthi during checking on Bandha Road on Friday.
