UPATS intensifies the operation to crack down on those who infiltrate into India with fake documents from Bangladesh.
In Uttar Pradesh, the count of Bangladeshi infiltration by making Indian identity from fake documents started. The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has systematically started fielding to nab such people. Along with this, they have also started keeping an eye on the departmental people who help them in making passports and visas to go abroad on fake documents.
In the last one year, the team of UP ATS has caught 30 Bangladeshis who infiltrated and made them through fake documents. According to ATS sources, about 18 hundred Bangladeshis have crossed the border illegally. Many teams have been set up to search for them. At the same time, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar says that the ATS and the police are constantly monitoring the security of the state.
Rohingya increased activity in Lucknow, Kanpur, Unnao, Saharanpur and Aligarh
Rinku Vishwas, Ajit Das, Rajesh Vishwas, Palas Vishwas, Vijay Das, Golak Mandal, Manik Dutta and Govinda Das were brought to UP illegally as Hindus.
According to ATS sources, Rohingya Muslims and Bangladeshi infiltrators have made inroads in the state capital including Kanpur, Unnao, Aligarh and Saharanpur. Here they are strengthening their network by staying in the slum. On the information of Military Intelligence, ATS has started arresting the infiltrators from Bangladesh. The ATS has arrested 17 Bangladeshis and Rohingyas so far this year. They say that about 18 hundred people related to them have crossed the border of Bangladesh and have come to India. Those who prepare passports and visas are being marked on their forged documents. Soon they too will be caught.
20 Bangladeshi infiltrators caught in December 2021, bail of the kingpin rejected
Mithun Mandal, who had infiltrated Bangladeshis into India through fake documents, was arrested along with nine associates.
ATS caught 20 illegal infiltrators in December 2021. In which Mithun Mandal, Sameer Mandal, Ajay Ghildiyal, Vikram Singh, Ronnie Pal, Vapi Rai, Pintu Das, Harish Ulla, Noor Amin, Mohd. The names of Qayyum Sikander, Kokhan Juicy and Ratan Mandal are included. On 29 April, the court rejected the bail application of Mithun Mandal, who had crossed the border and infiltrated.
Crackdown started after Azizullah was caught on 6th January 2021
On January 6 this year, the ATS arrested Azizullah, a Rohingya resident in Samarth village in Sant Kabir Nagar district. On February 28, Mohammad Farooq and Hasan, who were on Kamela Road in Aligarh, were caught. While Farooq’s brother Shahid was arrested from Unnao on March 1. These people were residents of Myanmar and Varma.
Delhi’s Amir Hussain brings Rohingya across the border
According to ATS sources, Bangladeshis and Rohingyas are illegally brought into the country’s border by Amir Hussain of Delhi. This was revealed in the recent past from Rohingyas caught in Meerut, Bulandshahr and Aligarh. Security agencies are tracing Aamir Hussain.
