New Delhi. UP Board: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) i.e. UP Board has changed the pattern of ninth annual examination 2021-2022. Now in the ninth annual examination, 30 percent i.e. 20 out of 70 questions will be from theory. These questions will be multiple choice. Answer of which will have to be given on OMR sheet. The board has also released the sample of OMR sheet for this. In this regard, you can see the notice on the website of the UP Board, upmsp.edu.in.
As per the UP Board notification, the other 50 questions will be of descriptive nature. There will also be questions based on Higher Order Thinking Skills i.e. HOTS. Separate answer sheets will be given to the students for writing answers to the descriptive questions.
This exam pattern will be followed in the half yearly examinations along with the annual examinations. Whereas internal assessment will give 30 marks. The practical exam for half yearly exam will be conducted in the second week of November while the theory exam will start in the third week of November.
Board exam will be held in February-March
According to a statement by UPMSP, the UP Board exams of class 10 and class 12 will be held in February-March in 2022. While the theory exam is scheduled for the fourth week of March and the practicals of the UP Board will start in the third week of February. According to the UP board, a total of 31,78,305 students have registered for the class IX examination. Whereas 26,62,303 students have registered for class 11th.
