Pratapgarh. The Bharatiya Janata Party released the sixth list of candidates on Friday for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. BJP has announced the names of candidates for 91 seats of the assembly. In this list, candidates have also been decided for many high profile seats. Pratapgarh district has come under discussion in this list released for the fifth phase of elections. BJP has announced the names of candidates for 4 out of 7 seats in this district. The most interesting thing is that Sindhuja Mishra has been given ticket from Kunda. Actually, Raja Bhaiya is in the fray from this seat. Sindhuja Mishra will contest from BJP’s side.
Apart from this, cabinet minister Rajendra Pratap alias Moti Singh will be contesting from Patti, Nagesh Singh Chhote Sarkar from Congress stronghold Rampurkhas assembly and Keshav Pasi from Babaganj assembly this time from BJP. In such a situation, the political stir regarding Pratapgarh has intensified.
Road not easy for Sindhuja
Since the release of Sindhuja Mishra, wife of Shiv Prakash Mishra, from Kunda seat, the discussion is hot whether she will be able to stand in front of Raja Bhaiya. It is worth mentioning that Bahubali leader Raghuraj Pratap Singh i.e. Raja Bhaiya has a lot of influence in the politics of UP. Raja Bhaiya, the Kunda seat of Pratapgarh district, is so dominant that any party thinks before fielding a candidate against him. Due to the influence of Raja Bhaiya, no candidate is able to register victory here. In such a situation, it will not be easy for Sindhuja Mishra and BJP to catch the road to victory here.
SP has also fielded candidates against Raja Bhaiya
This time SP has also laid a trap against Raja Bhaiya. This time SP has fielded Gulshan Yadav from Kunda, who was once a special of Raja Bhaiya. Gulshan Yadav started his political career under the guidance of Raja Bhaiya. It was because of Raj Bhaiya that Yadav had also made good inroads in politics, but with time, the paths of both of them have separated and the SP wants to take advantage of this.
6 candidates for Prayagraj
In the list released by the BJP, the names of 6 candidates have appeared for Pragagraj. In this, MLA Guru Prasad Maurya has been fielded from Phaphamau East, Praveen Kumar Patel again from Phulpur, Neelam Karwaria from Meja, Siddharth Nath Singh from Allahabad West, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi from City South and Aarti Kol from Koraon seat.
