Pooja Pal has been an MLA from Allahabad City Western Assembly twice after the murder of her husband Raju Pal. Pooja Pal’s name became famous after the murder of her husband, BSP MLA from Allahabad City West, Raju Pal. The story of a very poor family becoming an MLA of Pooja is bloody and exciting.
Let us inform that Raju Pal, who was a history-sheeter of Dhumanganj police station, had created a sensation in the 2004 elections by defeating SP candidate Ashraf in the city western seat. Ateeq and Ashraf were made accused in the murder along with other shooters. At present, Atiq Ahmed is lodged in Ahmedabad Jail and Ashraf is lodged in Bareilly Jail. After nine days of marriage, after the murder of her husband, in the elections held in 2007, Pooja Pal won on a BSP ticket. She won this seat twice but lost in 2017. Pooja Pal had joined the SP before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Now she is going to fight from Chail seat. Now SP has declared Pooja Pal as candidate from Kaushambi’s Chail seat.
