By the end of this month, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board may conduct recruitment for 25,000 constable civilian police posts in UP Police. The official notification for this recruitment can be announced soon by issuing the application process of the recruitment.
How many lakh candidates had failed in the examination
In the year 2018, UPPRPB had released recruitment for about 49,568 constable posts. These posts included a number of constable civilian police as well as PAC jawans. According to the information received from media reports, about 19 lakh candidates had applied for this recruitment. Out of this, about 15 lakh candidates appeared in the written examination. Out of the total candidates who appeared in the exam, only 1,23,921 candidates were successful in the written examination. That is, out of the total candidates who appeared in the examination, only 6.52 percent candidates were found eligible for DV and Physical Efficiency Test, while 93.48 percent candidates were declared unsuccessful in the written examination itself. In such a situation, the candidates who want to apply for 25,000 constable recruitment should start preparing for its exam from now.
Salary and other benefits received after training
The candidates who are finally selected on the constable posts in UP Police get an estimated monthly salary of around 30 thousand to 40 thousand rupees per month. In which according to the 7th pay commission, other allowances like traveling rent allowance, house rent allowance, medical facilities etc. are included. Which make it an extremely lucrative government job.
What is the selection process of constable recruitment
On the basis of the constable recruitment that has been done so far through UPPRPB, it can be said that the candidates applying for this recruitment have to go through four stages. First of all, the candidates have to appear in the written examination. After this, the physical efficiency test, physical criteria, and medical test will have to be passed. A final merit list of the candidates who are successful in all these stages is prepared.
