During this, a total of 1 patient has died due to infection. This death took place in Meerut. There are currently corona-free districts in Hamirpur and Mahoba in UP.
According to the Corona Health Bulletin released on Thursday, the maximum number of cases in UP were reported from Gautam Budh Nagar. Here on Thursday, 600 new infected have been found in the last 24 hours. With these infected, the number of active corona positive patients in Gautam Budh Nagar has now increased to 1706. On Thursday, 408 new cases were reported in Lucknow, taking the number of active patients here to 1153.
During the last 24 hours, 382 new patients were found in Ghaziabad. Here now the number of active patients has increased to 1180. During this, 401 were found infected in Meerut, while one patient died due to infection. The number of active Korana patients in Meerut has increased to 798. In Varanasi, Moradabad, Agra and Prayagraj also, the number of new infected people crossed 100. During the last 24 hours, 126 new corona positives were found in Varanasi, 111 in Moradabad, 131 in Agra and 128 in Prayagraj.
In Kanpur city, 85 patients have been found in the last 24 hours, while 74 patients have been found in Saharanpur, 63 in Mathura and 57 in Gorakhpur. In all the remaining districts of Uttar Pradesh, less than 50 patients have been found in the last 24 hours. Mahoba, Mahirpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Mau and Kaushambi are the only districts in UP where not a single new case of corona has been reported in the last 24 hours.
