Lucknow: The alliance between BJP and Apna Dal may have been done for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections (UP Election 2022), but the seat sharing is still stuck. For the UP elections, Bharatiya Janata Party’s ally Apna Dal (S) can contest on 18 seats and talks are also going on for this. Apna Dal (S) in alliance with BJP has so far got Soraon, Vishwanath Ganj, Pratapgarh Sadar, Chhanbe, Bara, Pratappur, Mau, Ranipur, Nanpara, Ghatampur, Madianhu, Bachhrawan, Swar, Kayamganj and Chail seats. Whereas Apna Dal (S) is still stuck in the 4 seats won. Apna Dal’s won seats in Duddhi, Jehanabad, Sewapuri and Shohratgarh assembly seats have not been decided yet.

Apna Dal Sonelal’s chief and Union Minister Anupriya Patel’s party has so far announced 4 candidates for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2022. Apna Dal has fielded Saroj Kuril from Ghatampur assembly seat of Kanpur Nagar.
At the same time, Dr. Surbhi Apna Dal will be the candidate of S-BJP alliance from Kayamganj assembly seat of Farrukhabad district. Apart from this, Anupriya Patel has expressed confidence in Ramnivas Verma from Nanpara seat of Bahraich. At the same time, Anupriya has fielded Haider Ali Khan from Swar seat of Rampur.
