Bahraich. In the UP Assembly Election 2022, Lalita Harendra Paswan, the candidate of the alliance of SP and Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party, has got the ticket from Balha Assembly seat of Bahraich. At present, Saroj Sonkar of BJP is the MLA in this seat. Earlier, after winning the election from this seat, the journey to the Minister of State was decided by Vanshidhar Boudh of SP.
This time also from Balha assembly constituency, former minister of state for SP Vanshidhar Buddh, Ramesh Gautam, who came to SP from BSP, district panchayat member Kishori Lal Paswan and former MLA Shabbir Ahmed were circling Lucknow for ticket. For this, with the help of their loved ones, everyone was getting the recommendation made, but the seat of the Balha assembly went to the account of the alliance. Subhasp gave ticket to Lalita Harendra Paswan. In such a situation, the workers will work hard to win Lalita, the alliance candidate of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and SP, from the Balha Assembly seat. It is known that Lalita Harendra Paswan is originally a resident of the district headquarters. Along with this, he has been given the responsibility of assembly 60 km away.

Lalita Harendra Paswan, declared as the candidate of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party from Balha Legislative Assembly, is the granddaughter of former minister Late Devi Prasad and is an educated woman. Devi Prasad was elected MLA twice (Ikauna in 1980 and Charda in 1989). Not only this, Mulayam Singh Yadav had also become a minister in the cabinet.
