This time BJP and its allies Apna Dal(s) And Nishad Party has done clean sweep in 28 districts of UP including Braj province, Bundelkhand and Awadh. At the same time, the SP alliance, which won 125 seats, had a clean sweep in five districts of UP. On the one hand, in CM Yogi’s Gorakhpur, the BJP captured all nine seats, while in Azamgarh, which is considered to be the stronghold of Akhilesh Yadav, the SP did not allow the ‘lotus’ to bloom in all 10 seats.

That is, while doing a clean sweep, here all the parties including SP, BSP, Rashtriya Lok Dal, Congress yearned for victory.
SP showed dominance in these districts
Apart from this, the SP alliance has done clean sweep in Azamgarh, Ambedkar Nagar, Kaushambi, Shamli and Ghazipur. Because of this, BJP’s Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya got defeated from Sirathu seat of Kaushambi, while sugarcane minister Suresh Rana of Yogi cabinet has to face defeat from Thana Bhawan of Shamli.
However, this time the BJP alliance has won 273 seats, in which BJP got 255, Apna Dal (S) got 12, and Nishad Party got 6 seats. At the same time, the SP alliance has won 125 seats. During this, SP has got 111 seats, RLD 8 and SBSP 6 seats. Apart from this, Congress and Jansatta Dal Loktantrik Dal have got two seats each, while BSP has won one seat.
