Polling in Agra is to be held on February 10. For this, paramilitary personnel will come here in the first week of February itself. The police station is being given to the police for the arrangements for the stay of the soldiers.
127 company Para Military Force (paramilitary force) is being received for conducting assembly elections in Agra district. Forces will start arriving in the first week of February. They will be marched on different routes on foot. Arrangements are being made for their stay at different places.
ADG Zone Rajiv Krishna told that the first phase of polling will be held in Agra as well as Aligarh and Mathura. This time there is more force in the elections. Three company forces had already arrived in Agra. The remaining 124 companies will come in the first week of February. Arrangements are being made for their stay. The police station has been given the responsibility.
CCTV cameras will be monitored
Tight security arrangements will be made around the polling station. Violators will be dealt with strictly. CCTV cameras will be installed at sensitive centres. Drone cameras will also be monitored at many centers.
Agra got 97 Company Para Military Force in the 2017 assembly elections. This time 103 company force was sought. But, 127 company and two platoon forces are coming. Women’s company will also be included in this. The security inside the polling station will remain in the hands of this force. Home guards and police will be deployed for external security. PAC will also be deployed.
