During this, the workers and the NSG commandos came face to face. When the workers started trying to meet Akhilesh, the NSG commandos started slapping him. Due to this there was chaos there. The glass of the hotel was also broken in the scuffle. Later the gate had to be closed to stop the crowd of workers.
According to the information, Akhilesh Yadav and RLD supremo Jayant Chaudhary had arrived in Meerut to hold a joint press conference, when their workers reached there in large numbers. He entered the Godwin Hotel. Seeing the crowd of workers and supporters here, the hands and feet of the security commandos and police were swollen. The security personnel tried to stop them, after which there was a ruckus and fights. The workers insisted on meeting Akhilesh, after which the commandos deployed in security took a tough stand. The workers who tried to forcibly enter Akhilesh-Jayant’s PC were slapped by the security personnel posted under Akhilesh’s security.
