Etah: In Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, miscreants killed a cement trader from Etah, after which there was a stir in the whole area. Prominent cement businessman Sandeep Gupta, a resident of Aliganj in Etah, was murdered in front of Gandhi Eye Hospital in Aligarh city on Monday night. Two people who came by car fired at businessman Sandeep, who stopped at the paan shop, after which the businessman died on the spot. Police are looking for the attackers. CCTV cameras are also being checked by the police. Sandeep Gupta was the distributor of UltraTech and JK Cement. His business was spread all over western Uttar Pradesh.
Actually, Sandeep Gupta also has an office near Meenakshi Bridge in Aligarh. On Monday evening at 7:30, DIG came to his office meeting Deepak Kumar. From here at around 9 o’clock in the night, Fortuner along with one of his companions was going to Green Park Society located in Swarna Jayanti Nagar in the city itself. His guards were in another car, which was following behind. According to SP City Kuldeep Singh Gunawat, Sandeep Gupta stopped the car near the paan shop on Samad Road Tirahe in front of Gandhi Eye Hospital on Ramghat Road and sent the driver to the shop to get tuberose.
Sandeep was sitting in the front seat. During this, two people came out of another car parked at some distance from their car and they opened fire targeting Sandeep. By the time people could understand something, the attackers shot Sandeep and fled in the car. The businessman was taken to Varun Trauma Centre, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Here, DIG Deepak Kumar and SSP Kalanidhi Naithani reached the hospital and Sandeep’s guards are interrogating his friend in the car apart from the driver. According to the police, CCTV footage is being scanned, 5 teams have been formed. Soon the attackers will be in the custody of the police.
