Let us tell you that the 56th All India DGP-IGP Conference was inaugurated on Friday. Union Home Minister Amit Shah Did it in the Signature Building, the headquarters of the UP Police. On Saturday, the second day of the conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi entered the Signature Building at 9:15 am and after attending the conference for the whole day, after having dinner with top police officers at night from the Signature Building at around 9.15 am. After which Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted and gave information about the conference.
Let us tell you that since becoming the Prime Minister in 2014, Narendra Modi attends this conference every year. Earlier, this conference was traditionally held in New Delhi itself, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the tradition of starting it in different states and police department offices. Every year the central agency IB organizes this conference and this year it is being hosted by UP Police.
In this conference, the DGPs of all the states of the country and the DGPs of the Union Territories, including the heads of the Para Military Forces, also attend. On Friday, Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated this conference. On Friday also, there were discussions and presentations on issues like terrorism, prison reforms, cybercrime, data governance, coastal security. On Saturday, UP’s ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar gave a presentation on the action taken by the ATS-STF in Uttar Pradesh on the mafia, land mafia. On Sunday, the last day of the conference, the Prime Minister and the Home Minister will attend this conference from 9:15 am to 4:00 pm. This is an occasion when the Prime Minister talks informally with the top police officers of the country on internal security and all matters.
