It is being told that one of the two prisoners being taken from Gujarat to Badaun Jail between Sikandrau-Kasganj road escaped by jumping from the moving vehicle, taking out his handcuffs. When this prisoner escaped, the security guards were in deep sleep. After going several kilometers away, the policemen who woke up from their sleep were stunned when they did not find the prisoner inside the vehicle. The policemen searched the railway station and other places around, but nothing was found of the prisoner. Kotwali police was also informed. The police also issued an alert, but till evening nothing was found of the absconding prisoner. A report has been lodged against this prisoner in Kotwali.
According to the information, Faheem alias Fahimuddin lodged in Badaun district jail Son Liaquat Ali resident Kashmiri Gate police station Ramgarh district Firozabad and Badruddin son Maudin resident Jalali Park Noori police station Bapur Baroda Gujarat had stolen a car in Baroda in the month of January. After this, he was sent to jail in a case in Badaun. Presently both were lodged in Badaun District Jail. After their names came up in the car theft case, they are also facing trial in the Baroda court.

In this connection, four soldiers of Gujarat Police took both the prisoners from Badaun District Jail to Gujarat on 29 April. After being produced in the court there, both were being brought in a van to leave Badaun on May 4. After drinking water at the Pant crossroads of Sikandrau, the four policemen who were walking together fell asleep. When a constable woke up at the petrol pump before village Agsauli, he saw that Badruddin was not in the car. While the soldiers were sleeping, Badruddin took out his handcuffs and escaped by jumping on a speed breaker as soon as the speed of the car slowed down. At present, the police team is raiding in search of the absconding prisoner.
