Violence took place in many districts including Prayagraj, Saharanpur in UP on June 3, after the controversial remarks of the suspended spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party Nupur Sharma against Prophet Mohammad. At the same time, the round of action is going on against those involved in the violence of UP Police. According to UP’s ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar, 423 miscreants have been arrested across the state so far. At the same time, the miscreants are still being identified on the basis of photos and CCTV footage.

During this, 85 miscreants have been arrested in Saharanpur, 55 in Hathras, 41 in Ambedkarnagar, 103 in Prayagraj, 40 in Moradabad, 20 in Firozabad, 8 in Aligarh, 5 in Jalaun, 8 in Lakhimpur Kheri and 58 in Kanpur Commissionerate. With this, so far 20 FIRs have been registered in 10 districts of UP in the case of violence after Friday prayers. In this violence, 21 police-administration employees and 14 civilians were injured.
Top-10 miscreants including ‘mastermind’ of Prayagraj violence Javed Pump transferred to other jails
Not only this, after the Friday prayers on June 3 and June 10, the main accused involved in the violence have been transferred by the police to the jails of other districts. On Sunday, Prayagraj Police shifted the mastermind of the violence that took place after Friday prayers in Atala of the city, Javed Mohammad alias Javed Pump, from Naini Central Jail to Deoria Jail. At the same time, eight other miscreants, including Imam Ali Ahmed, present of Atala Badi Masjid, have been sent to Kanpur, Mainpuri, Aligarh, Agra, Bareilly and Lakhimpur Kheri Jail. The police administration has cited security reasons behind this. According to Ajay Kumar, SSP of Prayagraj, people close to him were reaching Naini jail to meet these miscreants. Due to this there was a threat to the peace system, so these top 10 rebels have been shifted to other jails hundreds of kilometers away due to security reasons.
Kanpur miscreants also shifted to other jails
Eight accused, including Hayat Zafar Hashmi, the mastermind of the violence that took place after Friday prayers in Kanpur, UP, have been shifted from Kanpur jail for security reasons and shifted to other jails. Hayat Zafar Hashmi has been sent to Chitrakoot jail, while seven people including Mohammad Rahil, Mohammad Sufia and Javed Ahmed Khan have been transferred to Basti, Pilibhit and Sonbhadra jails.
