Lucknow. The UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET Exam 2022), being held on Sunday, November 28, in Uttar Pradesh has been cancelled. The question paper of the exam was leaked on WhatsApp, after which this decision was taken. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions for strict action in the paper leak case. Seizing the properties of the accused, he has given instructions to the officers to install gangsters. CM Yogi tweeted and said, the state government is standing with the candidates of UPTET. The re-examination will be conducted in a transparent manner within 1 month. No additional fee will be charged from any candidate. The candidates appearing for the examination will be given free travel facility in UP Roadways buses for commuting.
He further said, our young brothers and sisters Those who play with the future of the state will not be spared at any cost. The people responsible for the inconvenience caused to all of you will definitely be punished. Your government is determined to conduct the examination in a fair and transparent manner. In a series of tweets, CM Yogi Adityanath said that instructions have been given to arrest the gang leaking UPTET paper. Prompt action is being taken by identifying the culprits. By registering a case against the culprits under the Gangster Act, their property will also be confiscated.
23 accused of solver gangs arrested
STF has arrested a total of 23 people in the paper leak case. This exam was to be conducted in two shifts from 10 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. However, after the leak of the question paper, the examination of both the shifts was canceled. UP ADG-Law and Order Prashant Kumar told that this exam will now be conducted next month. However, the date of the exam has not been decided yet. At the same time, candidates will not have to pay fees again for the exam.
Solver gangs caught from these cities of UP
Prashant Kumar told a press conference in this regard that today on 28/11/2021, the UP TET exam was to be held in 2 shifts. 19,99,418 candidates were to take the examination at 2336 centres. We laid a trap to catch solver gangs in examinations. Since last night, 23 people have been arrested from different cities of Uttar Pradesh. Four persons have been arrested from Lucknow, 3 from Meerut, two in Varanasi and Gorakhpur. One person has been arrested from Kaushambi and 13 from Prayagraj. All these people have been caught by the STF. He told that the photo copy of the paper has been recovered from these people. After sharing these papers with the government, it came to know that these were the question papers of TET. The government decided that these examinations should be canceled. This exam will be conducted again within the next 1 month.
