The Sri Lankan national living in the Nakhasa police station area of Sambhal district was living secretly in India for two years despite the expiry of his visa. He has been booked under several serious sections including cheating and forgery. At the same time, it has been told that 32 years ago on the basis of tourist visa, he came to India via Chennai.

Superintendent of Police Chakresh Mishra said that a case has been registered against Abdul Qadir Nazir, a resident of Sri Lanka, who has been living in Sambhal for the last 30 years. Abdul Qadir Nazir’s visa could not be extended due to Corona. The Embassy was also contacted for this. During investigation, it was found that documents including Indian PAN card, Aadhar card have been obtained by him. A case has been registered against the accused Abdul Qadir Nazir in this case. He is being arrested and sent to jail.
