New Delhi. Meta-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp has launched a new user interface (UI) for Windows 10 and 11 users. Its videos and pictures have surfaced. It was first spotted by Aggieornamenti Lumia. The new version is based on the Universal Windows Platform. Apart from using WhatsApp on the computer, if you download its web-based version as well, it will launch very quickly.
Notifications will be available when you are offline
The new app of WhatsApp will keep giving you notifications even when you are offline or not using the app on the desktop. Apart from this Windows app, WhatsApp is also developing an app for macOS, which can be launched soon. According to the report of WhatsApp’s every activity tracking site WABetaInfo, this app will be based on Apple’s Catalyst Project. The Catalyst project allows developers to build different apps from the same code for both macOS and iPadOS.
audio and video support
Based on the pictures shared by Italian publisher Aggiornamenti Lumia, it can be said that this app supports both audio and video calls. Apart from this, other interesting features also include Windows Ink. Windows Ink means that users can share an image of themselves by sketching on a web page.
Not only this, almost all the features that are given in a mobile app have been given in the setting options. Privacy settings include Last Seen and who can see your profile picture, chatting, notifications, storage, setting to automatically store media in the gallery, etc.
