Varanasi. The mystery of the mysterious death of Shiv Kumar Trivedi, a student studying B.Sc from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), now rests on the Allahabad High Court’s decision. Actually during the first corona period BHU due to lockdown Most of the students had returned to their homes. Shiv, a resident of village Brajpur, Post Bargarhi Khurd, District Panna, Madhya Pradesh, was studying BSc from BHU and was a second year student. The last time he was seen was when the police of Lanka police station of Banaras was taking them with him on the night of 13-14 February 2020. There was no trace of Shiva after 13.
According to the police, they had found Shiva in many states. At many places, he also took Pradeep along. But Shiva was already dead. During the hearing in the Allahabad High Court on 21 April, the police said that on 15 February 2020, ie, two days after the day the police took Shiva, a dead body was found in Jamuna Talab located in Ramnagar, Banaras. Under the leadership of Sunita Singh, IPS of CBCID CIS branch Lucknow, the police got her DNA tested, which matched with Shiva’s father Pradeep Trivedi. Means Shiva is dead.
Doubts in police’s arguments
Let us inform that about the hearing held on April 21, advocate Saurabh Tiwari told that according to the police the student was mentally ill. After leaving the Lanka police station, he drowned in the pond of Ramnagar. On this I made my point and told the court that why that student will go to Lanka police station 5 km to the pond or pokhari of Ramnagar? If he had to die by drowning, why didn’t he jump into the Ganges when it would have been on his way.
Shiva belonged to a very poor family
Hailing from a very poor household, Shiva was meritorious from the very beginning. Passed the IIT exam only after doing 12th from Navodaya. But due to ill health, he could not take the exam and then took admission in BHU. Shiv’s younger brother Umashankar Trivedi is preparing for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) after graduating from DU. Now after two years, the same police told the Allahabad High Court that Shiva has died, he will never return. The next hearing in this case will be on July 14.
