Cases of forgery from accounts are continuing in Aligarh. On Khair Road of Rorawar police station area, the fraudsters first fraudulently got to know the PIN of the ATM and then changed the ATM card of the victim. After this, one lakh rupees were withdrawn from the victim’s account. But when the accused withdrew the money, the message of withdrawal of money did not come on the victim’s mobile. After a few days, the accused again withdrew 4 thousand rupees, but this time also the message did not come. A few days later, when the victim checked his account and saw the ATM, he came to know about the whole incident. After which the victim has filed a case in Rorawar police station. After which the police has started investigating the incident.
The victim is a resident of Sarahanpur
Irshad son Khurshid Ahmed, who was a victim of forgery, told that he is originally a resident of Bhoolni village of Fatehpur police station of Saharanpur. He works in a company in Aligarh. On April 1, he had gone to withdraw money from an ATM in Khair Road. When he came out with the money, two people came from behind with a scooty and told him that his account was open in the ATM and he should close it. After listening to them, he went to the ATM again and put the card. During this, when he inserted the pin again, the accused saw his pin. Meanwhile, in the name of closing the details from the ATM, the accused changed the ATM of the victim. After this, he disappeared the money from his account after two days.
CCTV also being investigated
After the registration of the case, while the team of Cyber Cell is engaged in the investigation of the accused, while the police is also investigating the ATM and the surrounding CCTV cameras. So that the accused can be identified.
CO III Shwetabh Pandey said that the police is fully active towards cyber crimes and a campaign is also being run to make people aware continuously. He said that the investigation is going on in the matter and soon the accused will be in police custody.
