In Muzaffarnagar, on the pretext of feeding chowmein, a young man who was taken from home was shot dead by his friends. Sensation spread in the city due to this massacre that took place late at night on Shahabuddin Pur Road of Kotwali area. Police registered a case against unknown killers and started investigation.
Pandit Devendra Prasad Mishra, resident of Mohalla Janakpuri of Thana Civil Line area, is a priest in the local Gauri Shankar Shiv temple. Devendra Mishra, originally a resident of Sultanpur district, had settled in Muzaffarnagar 12 years ago. Told that late on Tuesday night, three youths came to his house and took 16-year-old son Raj Mishra along, saying that he would feed chowmein. An hour later, they got information that the body of Raj Mishra, who was shot in the head, was lying in an empty plot on Shahabuddin Pur Road in the Kotwali area of the city. Police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem.
Police took three suspicious youths into custody
On the complaint of Pandit Devendra Mishra, the Kotwali Police has started action by registering a case against unknown killers. If sources are to be believed, the police have started interrogation by taking into custody the three suspects, Sunny alias Parrot son Mangeram resident Rampuri, Lavish alias Lavi son Pradeep resident of Friends Colony and Ravi Kumar son Virendra resident of Janakpuri, who took Raj Mishra from home.
28 thousand was bought pistol
If sources are to be believed, the pistol with which Raj Mishra was shot dead was bought from a person for Rs 28,000. After recovering which the police have started interrogation by taking into custody the person selling the pistol to the youths.
Mourning in the locality over the murder of the priest’s son
There is an atmosphere of mourning in the locality regarding the murder of the son of Devendra Mishra, the priest of Gauri Shankar Shiv Mandir of Mohalla Janakpuri in Thana Civil Line area. Local resident Dr Virendra Kumar Verma told that the police has assured that the killers will be arrested soon.
City Kotwali in-charge inspector Anand Dev Mishra says that a murder case has been registered. The incident will be revealed soon after the arrest of the killers.
