A court in Muzaffarnagar, while hearing a case of murder on suspicion of illicit relations, has convicted the accused and sentenced him to life imprisonment. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on the guilty.
Gaurav massacre happened in 2013
Assistant District Government Advocate Arun Kumar Sharma told that Gaurav, a resident of village Chunasa of Bhorakala police station area, was strangled to death on September 26, 2013. After the murder to hide the evidence, Gaurav’s body was thrown in the canal along with his bike. In this case, the deceased’s brother Ankit son Yogendra had filed a murder case. It was revealed in the police investigation that the murder was carried out by the village Chunsa police station Bhorakala, resident of Sanjeev alias Sanju son Rajveer.
Illegal relations with the wife of the accused
Assistant District Government Advocate Arun Kumar Sharma and Ed. Satyendra Singh said that it was revealed in the police investigation that the deceased Gaurav had illicit relations with the wife of the accused Sanjeev alias Sanju son Rajveer. Sanjeev aka Sanju often asked Gaurav to stay away from his wife. But when this did not happen, one day Sanjeev himself called Gaurav from his house and took him away. After which he strangled Gaurav to death and threw the body in the canal.
Gangster Act Court ruled
Assistant District Government Advocate Arun Kumar Sharma told that the trial of the incident was heard by the Special Gangster Act Court Judge Baburam. He told that the prosecution presented 10 witnesses in the court to prove the incident. Told that after hearing the arguments of both the sides, the court convicted the murderer Sanjeev alias Sanju son Rajveer and sentenced him to life imprisonment. He said that the court also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on the guilty.
